INTRODUCTION
The Cary Jr. Trojan Flag Football Program is designed to teach young athletes the game of football, as well as instill a love for the game. Players are given the chance to learn various positions on offense and defense as well as learn commonly used football terminology.
We offer three age divisions with the cutoff date being September 1st. Ages 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10.
PRACTICES & GAMES
Games are played every Saturday from late August to late October. There is the chance of Sunday games later in the season. Practices begin in late July and typically occur at Deer Path Elementary. Home games occur behind Cary Junior High on the baseball field. Participating programs are Prairie Ridge, Algonquin, Wauconda and Marian Central Catholic.
EQUIPMENT
Jerseys and flags are included with registration. Mouth guards are required for practices and games. Molded cleats are highly recommended. These are not included in the registration fee.
